This recipe has become my favorite breakfast: quick, delicious, and super nutritious. With eggs, milk, and cheese, you can prepare a light dish, golden brown and creamy inside. Just mix, bake, and enjoy a warm square every morning. And if you want to vary it, you can add whatever you have in the fridge!
Ingredients (4 to 6 servings)
8 eggs
400 ml of milk
150g of cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, prato or a mixture)
Salt to taste
Optional extras to add
Freshly ground black pepper
Fresh herbs (oregano, thyme, parsley)
Bell peppers, spinach, mushrooms
Diced ham, turkey breast, or bacon
Preparation method
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Beat the eggs with the milk and salt until smooth.
Mix in the cheese and optional toppings, if desired.
Grease a baking pan with butter or olive oil.
Pour the mixture into the pan and bake for 25–30 minutes, or until golden brown.
Wait 5 minutes, cut, and serve while still warm.
