Slow Cooker 4-Ingredient Apple Butter!!!

Wash, peel, core, and slice the apples.
Cut them into small chunks so they cook down evenly.
Tip: You don’t need perfectly uniform pieces; the slow cooker will soften them all.
Step 2: Load the Slow Cooker
Place the apple chunks into the slow cooker.
Add the sugar and cinnamon, then stir until the apples are evenly coated.
Cover with the lid.

Step 3: Slow Cook the Apples
Set your slow cooker to LOW and cook for 10 hours.
Stir occasionally, but it’s fine to leave it overnight.
After several hours, the apples will soften and release juices, creating a chunky sauce-like mixture.
Step 4: Blend for Smoothness
Once the apples are fully soft, use an immersion blender directly in the slow cooker to puree the mixture until smooth.
If you don’t have an immersion blender, carefully transfer the apples in batches to a regular blender, then return them to the slow cooker.
Step 5: Add Vanilla and Reduce
Stir in the vanilla extract.
Leave the lid slightly ajar (prop it with a wooden spoon) and continue cooking on LOW for 2 more hours.
This step thickens the apple butter, allowing excess moisture to evaporate and giving it that deep, rich consistency.
Step 6: Cool and Store
